Hardwood Log Bucking

The Hardwood Utilization Project (HUP) in cooperation with MD Master Logger and Allegheny College of MD is offering a one day Bucker training to be held on January 23, 2010. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

HUP is a training program designed to integrate field, classroom and computer simulation techniques to teach better bucking decision making. The goal of HUP is to increase the value and quality of hardwood logs throughout the eastern hardwood region by improving the log bucking skills of loggers and yard workers.
