Founded in 1968, the Western Regional Boiler Association is a non-profit technical organization that brings together individuals from companies that are involved in the day to day operations of power boiler facilities. Our members are employed by companies with boiler facilities in the western states and provinces of the United States and Canada. Our goal is to share information and experience in order to improve boiler operations in the areas of reliability, efficiency, and safety. To achieve this objective, our association holds a conference once a year in a major city of the west. Vendors who manufacture boilers, boiler components, boiler plant auxiliary equipment, or provide related services are invited to attend our conference. During the conference a number of technical presentations are made which are intended to promote and better the technical competency of our members.
The purpose of the Western Regional Boiler Association is to establish an organization that brings together those individuals that are involved in the day to day operations, maintenance, and engineering/design of facilities that employ power boilers. The association encourages individuals having involvement with power boiler facilities from the western states and provinces of the United States and Canada to become members and participate in the association's annual conference. Our goal as an association is to share information and experience in order to improve boiler operations to meet todays and future energy demands in industry in the safest and most economical manner.
